Liturgy Interview
Liturgy also has a new record out May 10th called Aesthethica. Which is why Hunter laughed so hard when I asked him that question... Hunter also has an essay for sale about Transcendental Black Metal limited to 151 copies. Nowadays you have to be a philosopher.
P.S.- I'm a nerd. Fuckin' deal.

Allegedly recorded by a 12 year old or 14 year old North Korean or South Korean in his bedroom or something. I don’t want to call bullshit, because this record sounds like it was made by the only teenager into Black Metal on a peninsula that’s never really stopped being at war for like 60 years. It’s totally biting Burzum circa Filosofem but stands apart with a vocal performance that immediately brings Prurient’s Cocaine Death to mind for no other reason than both are FUCKING INTENSE DUDE. Instead of the typical blast beats you get distorted snare terrorism that sounds like The Hospitals as heard on a tenth generation cassette and instead of minor key shredding you get bass lines that plod at the same velocity as a sinking submarine. Yeah it fucking rules and it’s easily my favorite Black Metal album.
